NBPSWA is governed by a volunteer board of practicing PSWs and allied healthcare leaders, supported by standing committees of the membership.
Board of Directors
A 7–9 member board elected from the active membership at the AGM, with francophone and anglophone representation required by bylaw.
Credentialing Committee
Reviews member credentials against provincial training equivalencies before issuing verified status.
Standards & Conduct Committee
Maintains the Standards of Practice and reviews complaints in keeping with natural justice.
Education Committee
Curates the continuing-education calendar and approves course providers.
Bylaws & policies
Current bylaws, annual reports, and financial statements are available to members in the Member Portal and on request.
